Kyocera seems to be making a push into the music handset scene, and its new K352, announced a few weeks ago at an event in Brazil, may well prove to be a hit.
The Kyocera K352 is aimed at being a music handset on a budget. Some other features of the handset have been cut down, such as the inclusion of only a VGA resolution camera, to be able to provide a music phone with 256MB of on board memory at a reasonable price. Music control keys are provided on the front of the Kyocera K352, and overall the handset has a size and feel to it very similar to the Sony Ericsson T610.
In addition to the music features, the CDMA compatible Kyocera K352 includes a 65k color TFT display, speakerphone functionality, PIM functions, and is compatible with BREW third-party applications.
The Kyocera K352 is set for release during Q3 this year for CDMA carriers worldwide.
