The Qtek 8600 mobile phone is a candy bar phone from Qtek with a decent enough size display. The phone works with UMTS as well as Tri-band GSM networks. It was announced a few months back and is now available for a price of $800. The phone weighs around120 grams and measures close to 112.4 x 46 x 14.8 mm.

The Qtek 8600 mobile phone has a 65k color TFT display with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. The phone is powered by a Samsung 2442 300 Mhz processor with 64mb SDRAM and 128 MB of Flash ROM. It runs on a Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system. The phone has GPRS, EDGE and 3G capability. The Bluetooth, Infrared and an Usb Port adds on to the great features which come with the phone. The Qtek 8600 mobile phone also has a 1.3 megapixel camera which can take photos at 1280 x 1024 pixels. The phone also has a HTML (pocketIE) version along with xHTML capabilities. The Qtek 8600 mobile phone can take Polyphonic and Mp3 tunes as ringtones.

The Qtek 8600 mobile phone has a Mp3 player along with Java MIDP 2.0, a Video/Audio Album and a Built-in handsfree.
