ETEN M600 is a mini Pocket PC phone for GSM/GPRS with built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, full size SD card slot (SDIO compatible) and enough power to run Skype. The phone is pretty light compared to the other Eten PDAs. It weighs approximately 160 grams and measures close to 111.7 x 60.7 x 22 mm. The Eten M600 mobile phone comes with a 65k color TFT screen with a display resolution of 240 x 320 pixels.
As far as size is concerned the ETEN M600 belong to the catory "mini Pocket PC phones" - it is only slightly bigger than HTC Magician (and roughly the same size as HTC Wizard.
The additional size is caused by thicker battery - 1400 mAh capacity - compared to 1200 mAh in HTC Magician. Fortuntely the SD card slot is not mini-SD but full size SD - also SDIO compatible. In other words one can use very cheap SD cards of big size instead of being forced to buy more expensive mini-SD cards
This was one of the earliest phones to get an in-built Wi-Fi 802.11b. There is GPRS as well as Bluetooth and an Usb port. The phone comes with a 1.3 mega pixel camera which can take stills photos at 1280 x 960 pixels. The Eten M600 mobile phone runs on Windows Mobile 5.0 PocketPC edition operating system. The phone can take 64 channel polyphonic ring tones as well as mp3 tunes.
The battery of the Eten M600 mobile phone can last to 2 – 4 hours of talk time and about 200 – 250 hours of standby, depending on your use. There are other provisions in the phone like Pocket Office, which is a software just like MS office and Open office to manage your documents efficiently.
One of the biggest advantages of this phone is a full size SD card slot that is accessible from the top.
