The Qtek 9600 mobile phone is a UMTS cum Tri band GSM phone released a few months back in June for a price of $700. The phone weighs close to 176 grams and measures about 113 x 58 x 22 mm. The Qtek 9600 mobile phone is very similar to the O2 XDA Trion Mobile Phone.
The Qtek 9600 mobile phone has a 65k color TFT touch screen with hand writing recognition software. The Qtek 9600 mobile phone comes with other great features like EDGE, 3G and even support for Wireless networks. With the 400 Mhz Samsung processor, 128mb ROM and 64mb RAM there is no sign of sluggish when running applications. Although the phone is pretty fast the Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system has a tendency to get hung up at times, but this is no major issue. The Qtek 9600 mobile phone boasts of other features like a great 2 megapixel camera with video recording and flash. A mp3 / AAC player, video calling, Java MIDP 2.0, and Pocket Office which comes in very handy for your documents and pdfs. With the Usb port support in the phone you can easily connect the phone to the laptop / computer and synchronize all your data.
The battery of the Qtek 9600 mobile phone seemingly lasts for 5 hours talk time and approximately 320 hours when on standby.
