Toshiba Information Systems (UK) Ltd, Mobile Communications Division, confirmed today that its new Portégé G810 Smartphone, which is due to launch in Q2 2008, will support the newly-announced Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system.
The updated software includes new time-saving features, easier phone navigation and management, and bolstered security safeguards. As Toshiba’s first HSUPA device, with an enhanced user interface and stylish touch screen, a 3 mega pixel camera and GPS receiver on board, the Portégé G810 is a fitting phone for those who like to have it all.
First unveiled in Barcelona at Mobile World Congress 2008, Toshiba’s new Portégé G810 is the ideal device for both professional and everyday mobile users. The updated version of Windows Mobile software, Windows Mobile 6.1, includes a new home screen that makes the most critical information on the phone available at a glance, and simplified setup that makes it possible to get the phone up and running out of the box in minutes. It also features enhanced web browsing and new tools for email and text management.
