Rogers in Canada to sell the BlackBerry Bold for $299?

As the Rogers Wireless' BlackBerry Bold launch date (July 25th) is approaching, so are the rumors about the pricing of the new device. Apparently, the Canadian mobile operator will sell the long-awaited BlackBerry for $299, which is the same price as the 16GB iPhone 3G.
It seems reasonable, but it's also possible that we'll see the price going down as we approach the Christmas season.
