Look and feel. While its jet-black glossy finish gives the handset a degree of aesthetic prestige, it also proves to be a haven for grubby fingerprints. Compared to other sliders, it's also a little on the bulky side.
Features.Capable of HSDPA internet speeds, the Vodafone handset is embedded with Google Maps, Radio DJ and Mobile TV. There's also a two-megapixel camera, as well as a host of PIM tools including a voice recorder, expenses memo and a world clock.
Ease of use.Menu icons and content is clearly visible on the large 2.2-inch screen, while the key buttons are large enough that you won't have to worry about accidental key nudges.
Performance. The HSDPA internet speeds allows you to enjoy the range of services on offer, including Google Maps, Mobile TV and the innovative Radio DJ. The external camera is nothing more than average, while the front facing camera is positively poor.
Battery life. With 260 minutes' talktime and 320 hours' standby, the Sharp 880H has an average battery life.

SoftBank has released a new stock watcher phone from Sharp called 920SH.
It will display all the latest stock information any time you like on its wide 3.2” VGA display using Sharp's ASV panel technology.
Other than that it supports GSM and 3G W-CDMA networks and comes with a 3.2Mpix camera.

Just taking a look at this phone tells me where it's from. Judging by the box-ish clamshell look it shares with just about every other phone in the land, I'd know the new Sharp FOMA SH705iII Cell Phone is for Japan. The new Sharp FOMA SH705iII has a 2.8-inch Sharp FOMA SH705iII 400 x 240 resolution TFT screen, a 3.2 megapixel camera, a 0.8-inch 96 x 39 resolution monochromatic OLED display, a microSD card slot, and 1-Seg TV tuner. Based on what I see, the Sharp FOMA SH705iII phone which will be an exclusive DoCoMo device, looks better than a lot of its contemporaries. Still, I wish a Japanese phone would break tradition and have an entirely different design.

You could say that the new Sharp 922SH cell phone from Softbank Japan is a clamshell, but the hinge doesn't allow for vertical flipping action. Instead, this mobile TV-minded handset takes on a form factor more like the Nintendo DS, opening up to reveal a large 3.5-inch VGA display, as well as a somewhat squished QWERTY keyboard where you would normally find a touchscreen.
There's a small external screen for basic things like telling the time, signal strength, and caller ID, but you'll want to make use of that glorious high-resolution LCD on the inside if you want to take advantage of its mobile television tendencies. This is especially true because the 922SH takes advantage of Sharp's Aquos technology.

Shield your eyes if it pains you to see the incredible kit customers of Japanese carrier KDDI au are entitled to, because we've got another doozy in the mix here. The rather wildly colored W61SH is yet another phone bearing Sharp's AQUOS branding to call out the emphasis on display goodness...

SoftBank sells in Japan a Sharp phone called the FULL FACE 913SH with a beautiful 2.8 Screen, using the ASV and Aquos technology, as well as a 1Seg TV tuner. This morning, All Mobile Suite Gundam had the pleasure to discover a new version on this Fullface 913SH, wearing the ZAKU II Colors, and with a larger LCD screen of 3" ( instead of 2.8 ), as well as 1GB of internal memory.

Sorry, T-Mobile veterans, the window of opportunity to flaunt your recently-acquired Sidekick LXs just expired. That's right -- everyone's now entitled to lay paws on Sharp's latest lovechild with Danger now that existing subscribers have gotten their fill from a limited launch on October 17. To celebrate the glorious occasion, the....

The full-scale launch doesn't come until the 24th, but current subscribers can get their grubby paws on Danger's latest and greatest starting today. Needless to say, the Sidekick LX is the best Hiptop to date; we were pleasantly surprised with the handset's build quality, the blue shell with chrome trim looks pretty slick, and the bright, crisp widescreen display is simpl.....

It isn't terribly often that true, unfiltered Japanese mobile tech finds its way into foreign markets, so we're delighted to see that Sharp has seen fit to offer one of its domestic handsets in the European market. The 880SH is the Euro-spec version of its 816SH, an HSDPA equipped model offered through Softbank. The slider features a QVGA display, 2 megapixel camera........

We're still not sure whether this is the legit Sidekick 4 -- you know, the true successor to the Sidekick 3, as opposed to some tangential compromise like the Sidekick iD -- but we're definitely encouraged by Sharp's internal designation for this sucker. It's been assigned the model number "PV250" to be exact, which would put it above the Sidekick 3's PV200 (and well above the iD's PV150), suggesting that the Shuriken is likely the next-gen Sidekick we should all be getting excited about, not the Slide from Motorola. Then again, it seems like there isn't much new here; it should get a healthy 3-inch widescreen display, which is nice and all, but 3G data is still nowhere to be found. Guess you need a functioning 3G network to offer 3G devices, eh, T-Mobile?

Remember those renderings of two upcoming Sidekicks, one labeled the "Sidekick Slide" and the other called out simply as the "Sidekick"? We now know a heck of a lot more about the Slide, and it seems the mysterious "Sidekick" might be getting outed now, too. Hiptop3.com is reporting that the handset is codenamed "Shuriken," a device that will ultimately become the Sidekick 4 sporting a full 3 inch widescreen display, microSD slot, and 1.3 megapixel camera. Unlike the Motorola-made Slide, the Sidekick....

NTT DoCoMo is poised to unleash yet another torrent of new models on an unsuspecting (or are they "suspecting" by now?) Japanese public, this time around with the 904i series. As the name suggests, these models follow up the 903i series launched just a few months back, reinforcing our hatred for the rate of product development exhibited by pretty much every other carrier and manufacturer in the world. Shown here are the D904i, SH904i, and F904i in clockwise order from the upper left, from Mitsubishi, Sharp, and Fujitsu, respectively.
